Pixaerial has a vast aerial photography stock image library and database which is constantly growing and updated. Pixaerial also works to commission, priding ourselves on a fully professional service whilst providing excellent value for money.

The Pixaerial library includes images of most areas in the north west of England, north Wales, south Wales, and the Midlands. Cities include Blackpool, Chester, Leeds, Liverpool, Bangor, Holyhead, Caernarfon, Swansea and Cardiff. We have also a large image library of all Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty within Wales. This work was made possible by a series of Sustainable Development Fund grants administered by Anglesey, Gwynedd, Denbighshire and Swansea Local Authorities and made available through the Welsh Assembly Government.

All Pixaerial images are available free to view online. Pixaerial features ads relevant to the locations of our aerial photography.

Abersoch, Gwynedd

Flying in fast, modern and stable aircraft like the Cessna 172SP, we are able to reach most major cities in the UK within an hour or so. We accept commissions from all over England, Wales, Scotland, and Ireland, including the Irish Republic. We are also able to cover Europe, including France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Norway.

Pixaerial also specialises in aerial photographic archaeological surveys, utilising oblique imaging techniques. This has proven successful in identifying many new historical sites. One site on Anglesey was excavated in the making of a Channel 4 television programme Time Team, hosted by Tony Robinson of Blackadder fame. Our archaeological imaging work has received widespread recognition, and we have worked in partnership with Gwynedd Archaeological Trust, the Welsh historical monuments agency - CADW, and the Royal Commission for Ancient and Historical Monuments in Wales - RCAHMW.

Commissioned work is always welcome. Past work has included caravan and holiday park compliance monitoring for planning authorities, aerial photography of building site progress - including Britain's highest construction project - Hafod Eryri at the summit of Snowdon, and images for estate agents. Farms, building sites, hotels, sports grounds, caravan sites, schools, homes, and conservation projects are all typical projects we are happy to photograph.

Aerial photographs by Pixaerial have been used for various publications. These include North Wales Living magazine, books like Welsh Sea Kayaking - 50 Great Sea Kayak Voyages (Pesda Press), and for illustrating feature articles such as Sailing Today magazine. Many of our images have also been used for selling land and other property, providing a unique and attractive view for potential buyers.
