Amlwch

Amlwch is now a small town set between the picturesque harbour of Amlwch Port and the colourful moonscape of Parys Mountain's mineral deposits. The town was once the centre of a worldwide copper trade with material from Parys Mountain being exported to all parts of the globe.

Amlwch is host to a biennial Viking Festival with events such as a ceremonial boat burning, battle recreations and fireworks displays.
