Botwnnog

Botwnnog is a small village in the centre of the Llŷn Peninsula. The Afon (river) Soch meanders past on its way to Abersoch although here it is little more than a trout stream. Garn Fadryn overlooks the village from several miles to the east, while the high ground to the west comprises the longer mass of Mynydd Rhiw. Ysgol Botwnnog secondary school has a catchment area taking in the whole of the western tip of Llŷn.
