Llanengan
Llangengan is a small village set between the resort of Abersoch and the broad sweep of Porth Neigwl or Hell's Mouth Bay, which is now a very popular surfing beach but was once the scene of many a shipwreck as sailing ships mistook the treacherous waters for a place of shelter.
A tall chimney above the village is all that remains of a small lead mining industry, but even this was preceded by the iron age settlement on the hill above.
