Rhyd-y-clafdy

Rhyd-y-Clafdy is a small village between Pwllheli and Nanhoron in the rural centre of the Llŷn Peninsula, Gwynedd. A network of narrow country lanes spreads out from Rhyd-y-Clafdy heading to Mynytho, Llanbedrog, Boduan and other small villages.

Afon (river) Penrhos passes under a stone bridge in the centre of Rhyd-y-Clafdy before heading south-east to the sea at Pwllheli, while upstream the marsh of Gors Geirch is a Ramsar wetland. This designation recognises the site as a Wetland of International Importance.
