Trefor and the surrounding area from the air
Trefor
Trefor is a small quarrying and fishing town in Gwynedd, North Wales. The town is dominated by the vast granite quarry cut from the mountain in giant steps while a steep incline runs down to where a short railway line used to run to the wooden jetty or Cei. Curling stones are still being produced at Trefor quarry where the quality of the granite is ideal for the purpose.
